How these pages are written.
STELQ Live is published by Ostrel Software LLC, a Washington company doing business as STELQ, at 522 W Riverside Ave, Ste N, Spokane, WA 99201.
Every page is written by software from public sources. No editor reviews it before it goes out, and each page says so next to its timestamps.
Every claim links to the source it came from. A claim the software cannot cite is left out.
Sources are checked on a schedule. An update is posted only when something new appears. Rehashes of what the page already says are not.
A page never names a private individual in connection with an accusation, charge, arrest, lawsuit or wrongdoing, however widely it was reported. It names the institution.
Anyone can report an error, or a page about them, without an account. A person reads every report, replies within one business day, and says what was done.
A page can be taken down. Its address then says it was withdrawn and does not repeat what it said.
