Auto-reload terms

Auto-reload is off unless you turn it on. This is the authorization you give when you do, the caps that bound it, and how to cancel.

These Auto-reload Terms (the "Mandate") govern the optional automatic top-up feature offered by Ostrel Software LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as STELQ ("STELQ," "we," "us," or "our"). They supplement, and are incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.

STELQ runs a prepaid wallet: you buy API credit up front and we debit it as you make requests. Auto-reload is an optional convenience that keeps your wallet funded so your integration doesn't stop mid-workload.

1Your Authorization

WHEN YOU ENABLE AUTO-RELOAD, YOU AUTHORIZE STELQ TO AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOUR SAVED PAYMENT METHOD THE RELOAD AMOUNT YOU CHOOSE, WHENEVER YOUR CREDIT BALANCE FALLS BELOW THE THRESHOLD YOU SET, WITHOUT FURTHER ACTION FROM YOU. THESE ARE RECURRING, MERCHANT-INITIATED CHARGES THAT CONTINUE UNTIL YOU TURN AUTO-RELOAD OFF.

Auto-reload is off unless you turn it on. We record your consent — the version of this Mandate, the timestamp, and the originating IP address — at the moment you enable it. If this Mandate changes materially, you will be asked to accept the new version before auto-reload can continue or be re-enabled.

2Amount and Frequency

  • You choose both the trigger threshold and the reload amount, in whole dollars, and can change either at any time from Billing in your console.
  • To prevent runaway charges, reloads are rate-limited by a cooldown between reloads and capped per day by both a count and a dollar ceiling. These limits are set by STELQ and may be adjusted.
  • Each successful auto-reload is emailed to you with the amount charged, your new balance, and a receipt.

3Failed Payments

If a charge is declined, we will email you and retry on a limited schedule. After repeated failures we pause auto-reload to protect your payment method and notify you. If your bank requires you to verify a charge, or your card needs updating, we will ask you to re-save your card before auto-reload can resume.

4Cancelling

Turn auto-reload off at any time from Billing in your console. Cancellation takes effect immediately and no further automatic charges will be made. Turning auto-reload off does not affect Credit already purchased.

5Refunds and Disputes

Prepaid Credit is consumed as you use the Services. Refunds of unused Credit are handled by support. If a charge is disputed or charged back, we may reverse the corresponding Credit and pause auto-reload on the account, as described in the Terms of Service.
